About Oak Hill Basketball

For decades, Oak Hill Academy has been a proving ground for greatness where elite players are developed, challenged, and prepared to succeed at the highest levels of the game.

Built on a tradition of excellence, discipline, and national impact, Oak Hill is widely recognized as one of the most iconic basketball programs in the world. The numbers tell part of the story 40+ NBA Draft picks and 34 McDonald's' All-Americans, more than any high school in the country, but the legacy goes far beyond that. Now, a new chapter begins.

Girls Basketball returns to Oak Hill Academy for the 2026–2027 school year, reimagined, intentional, and built for the future of the game. This relaunch is rooted in the same standard that built a national powerhouse, now expanded to create access, visibility, and opportunity for the next generation of elite girls' basketball players.

At Oak Hill, the expectation has never been average.
It’s been greatness. And now, that standard continues stronger than ever. Now, it's HER TIME!

PARENT TESTIMONIALS

What Is it Like Being Mentored By Coach Ish?

We've seen her growing in confidence, and learning how to handle the mental side of the game. Coach Ish is great at connecting with kids, she shared her experiences to show them real life examples which I think made them really see things differently.

Shamirah Brown-Butler (New Jersey)

Mother of 2029 EYBL GBB Player

Ish’s knowledge and collegiate experience is invaluable to young girls and parent who are trying to navigate the recruiting process. She really breaks it all down and provides valuable tools and resources for the girls and parents. This really opened our minds to the recruiting process.

Kerry Johnson (Virginia)

Mother of 2029 TCIS All-Conference Player

Coach Ish helped Anaya come out of her shell and step into leadership. She went from overthinking to owning her game and even created her own four-week camp to pour into younger girls. On the court she stopped overthinking, used positive self-talk, and just played.
